Machu Picchu by bus 3 days, On the first day we leave at 7: 20 am to head to Hidroelectrica where the course we will observe breathtaking landscapes upon arrival to Santa Teresa enjoy lunch, and continue the journey to hydroelectric where you will begin the 3-hour walk to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night in the selected accommodation, in the evening hours the guide will take you to dinner at one of the local restaurants in Aguas Calientes and begin to explain some details of the tour the next day in Machu Picchu, culminating dinner will go to rest to get up early in the morning. On the second day, return to Machu Picchu very early in the morning to appreciate the beauty of the Inca constructions. It is a real adventure that you will enjoy.
On this day we will pass by your hotel in Cusco and then start the trip by car to Hidroelectrica, on the route we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes during 6 hours of travel, we will have a stop in Santa Teresa to enjoy a delicious lunch in local restaurants. After lunch, we continue by car for another hour to Hidroeléctrica where we will find the end of the access for the cars where the train tracks to Aguas Calientes begin. In the afternoon it is time to get ready for a flat 3-hour hike to Aguas Calientes. Once at our destination for this first day, you will be taken to your selected accommodation to shower and relax after dinner and get ready for the day in Machu Picchu.
For this day you can choose between walking up or going up by bus. If you go by bus you have to buy a bus ticket in Aguas Calientes which costs 12 dollars or indicate to the agency, if you walk, start at 4:30 am to arrive at 6 am at the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Both options will depend on you, the meeting point will be at the main entrance of Machu Picchu at 6 am where the guide will be waiting for you to enter Machu Picchu, (at the end of the guide will have free time to explore your own if you want you can climb the mountain of Machu Picchu or Wayna Picchu mountain or maybe visit the sun gate). After the visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes and explore the most important places including entering the hot springs and others.
It is time to return to Cusco, around 9:30 in the morning you have to start the walk towards hydroelectric where you can enjoy the scenery for 3 hours, to take the bus back to Cusco for 7 hours and arrive in Cusco at 21:40 pm we will leave you in the plaza regocijo. remember that you have to be in hydroelectric at 2:30 pm because the bus leaves at 15:00 hrs.
